Turkey's fashion and retail pioneer Koton started the ready-to-wear retail with its first store opened in Istanbul in 1988 and opened its first point of sale abroad in Munich, Germany in 1996. Today, Koton has a total of 442 stores, 191 of which are located abroad and 251 of which are located in Turkey, and more than 1.000 points of sale in 56 different countries around the world. In 2022, Koton entered new markets abroad, such as Moldova and Congo.

As a creative, innovative, customer and technology-driven company, Koton combines seasonal trends with unique designs and carries out the policy of offering these products with attractive prices at suitable locations.

With more than 11.000 employees and its design team of more than 220 young and experienced employees, Koton offers its customers 30.000 different models in more than 50 collections each year. As a brand with high female employees rate, Koton has proven that it places great emphasis on the women workforce and the presence of women in work life with its 69% female employees rate and a 54% female executives rate. In addition, as a young and dynamic brand, 60.9% of its employees are from Generation Z. Koton stores bring about 80 new selections to its customers every day.

Koton.com was launched in September 2015 and carries rich content from Koton stores to the online platform.

1996 - Yurtdışında ilk mağaza - Münih’te.
